@Gnofg Unfortunately, as much as I liked Reagan. I'd have to agree, at least to a certain extent. From what I've seen statistically, wealth (as far as assets and cash value) has been declining for the bottom 60% of earners in the US since the 80s.

Give people everything they want and they will set it on fire to see something exciting happen. People focus too much on greed from the wealthy, when they should be focusing on greed in their own lives.

If you don't know what you're going to college for, then you probably shouldn't be going. Should you do so, the likelihood is very high that you will join a horde of other University alumni that are barely able to make their loan and apartment payments. Not to mention carry no work prospects. We have tens of millions of Americans that are essentially indentured servants.

Earners in the 40% to 60% range have lost nearly half their wealth in the last 30 years if you look at the Federal Reserve Board statistics. And the top 80% and above increased their wealth in that time period. I don't think all those middle class earners were becoming the upper quartile in that time period. If anything, the last two years have pushed everyone down. If you were (center) middle class in 2019, then with the same assets and cash value you are (lower) middle class in 2021.
