  2.  @KYLESCABIN  it also depends how well the water drains in that particular area. hopefully its very sandy. Another thing , snow coverage. Snow is a very good insulator.

  4. great idea. ya never know. Face shield would be another safety feature I use. We only have 2 eyes. Chainsaw incidents happen so quickly.

  5. I would build boxes on the inside and be done with it. Cover up the round holes. Thats me though.
