  1. Here's a thing Simon, you're on my mind. You think Kwasi Kwarteng and much of the government are odd, not acting in our community interests, more or less too foreign, and unpatriotic. You are blasé about being a published (I think) dozens of times as a writer, saying it's just like any other job. You are obsessed with politics, and spent years home educating your daughter, as if only you knew best how to fulfill that role. So, have you never thought of putting yourself forward to be a party's or an independent general election candidate? Why haven't you?

  5.  @iaindouglasmcwilliam8684  Sounds like you mostly got my point. But there are lots of more homogenous areas. We're still the majority. Doesn't always make somewhere friendly though. I've had foreign neighbours who some good some bad, and and bad more in the worse housing in town. But I've never had (in youth) great neighbours, in the suburbs.
