  5. That poster looks very historicist. Most of those conditions were never heard of in 1949, perhaps even schizophrenia. Unmanageable relatives sounds like a kitchen sink drama, or a form of eugenics. It's a bit like ECT, sort of wipe the slate clean of the brain. Trouble is, the sort of mind that produces. Makes me think of the occasional relative or two, who one wishes one wasn't descended from.
