  3. Nowadays there are only about 90000 people there. That's similar to the town I live in, but not comparable to a big city or country. Seems a little strange to think the Isle Of Man needed a king, and a parliament.

  7.  @inari.28  Southport, Australia is a small part of Brisbane (via Gold Coast). I grew up in Southport, UK, which is across the Irish Sea, and has a similar size population to the Isle of Man (90 thousand).
