  1. Depends which people you're talking about. If you are the people pleaser, it's because there are many others who expect you and pressure you to be. But you're not, presumably, that bad.

  2. Have you never noticed that there are a lot of funny characters, who are arrogant, but not vain about their looks? I know we all die and noone is in terms of worth, we assume, without too much prejudice, equal. But what bothers many is that lot of people don't think or act like that. They make things difficult to deal with.
