@bennettmarshall7881 - It's not like he said it publicly. And we're just going on someone else's word that he said it at all. I'm sure all presidents speak at ease during private conversation. The reality is that there are some pretty disgusting corners of the world. I've been to a few of them. It doesn't mean the people are bad, but there are countries that simply cannot get their collective acts together and are their own worst enemies. As a consequence, they lack basic infrastructure and services and, in turn, are dirty, rife with disease and have open sewers. This isn't rocket science.

@christiansmith2730 - I'm stunned there are so many socialists (the modern incarnation of the Democrat party) who are watching history videos. Perhaps they are pining for the good ol' days when they could head to the USSR for their honeymoon and sip vodka while political prisoners rotted away in gulags.
