@lincolnsand5127 - I believe the UK even had to reopen a whole bunch of hospitals that were closed when coronavirus hit. This debate occurs in any country that has a sizable enough landmass.

@ButterGamesRoblox - Standard of living is subjective. I would not want to live in Scandanavia because of foul weather, a high cost of living and extremely high fuel prices that would lead me to have to abandon my favorite hobby, which is boating. Americans do not have a perfect healthcare system (that's an understatement) but overall, there are many more opportunities and lifestyle choices available to Americans that are just unaffordable elsewhere.

@tradeelmundo - This is a state-by-state issue as well. New York, for example, has horrendously poor infrastructure. Where I live in Tampa, the highways, airports and seaports are excellent.

@MrJdh1997 - In fairness, New York is literally losing millions of residents due to its extremely high cost of living and high taxes. Companies are moving out as well. I'm not defending the system that is in place, but New York is not a standard by which to measure the cost of living in the vast majority of the USA.

A little life hack. In my area of the US on a small island, sometimes the only available medevac helicopter is a US Coast Guard helo and they come in as mutual aid for a coastal area. They don't charge a cent. If there's a private helo around, oh boy...
