  1.    - The under-cab engines exist in the U.S. too, though. I do see them on the roads on occasion (maybe they're old models?). Also, Volvo is one of the absolute best-selling trucks in the U.S., at least from what I see doing a lot of traveling. Scania used to sell trucks here but have not in a while. Mercedes has re-introduced its Actros rigs to the market as well in limited dealerships as a test phase. I'm actually surprised IVECO hasn't re-entered the American market given the revived popularity of Italian cars here and the presence of manufacturing plant in South America.

  2. My thoughts exactly. I mean, how much cheaper does crap on Amazon have to get, anyway? Is it enough to put thousands of people out of work and risk our safety?
