  1. The other issue with flying to Asia is that sometimes you'll get routed through Moscow. Nothing against Russia (well, within reason) but their visa system is annoying. If your layover is of sufficient length to necessitate leaving the airport, it's a pain in the ass.

  2. In fairness, there are a lot of people who don't much care about their "carbon footprint." Frankly, I don't. I travel internationally very frequently and, if given the opportunity to fly private on a regular basis, I'd take it in a second.
