In fact, it already happened once, and the US Navy effectively slaughtered Iran's entire fleet in a single day. That is when they switched to asymmetrical methods. The Royal Navy could likewise give them a good beat-down. Perhaps it's time to remind the IRGC of what a Phalanx CIWS can do.
