  1. Ehh, they'll build some manufactured green zones for them. It'll feel like the American-style residential zones near Saudi Arabia's industrial cities. (It feels like a US town, there are American schools, homes, nightlife, etc.. and no draconian religious laws like the rest of the country.) Honestly, I could see people lining up to take those jobs if they pay well, especially people who are young and/or just got out of the military. Work the Sahara for a few years, have an adventure and save for the future. Doesn't seem so bad to me.
