  1. I'm not sure why you expect there would be a ground war. The U.S. doesn't want to occupy Turkey. If there was ever a conflict, there would be a defined military objective that, 99 times out of 100, could be achieved by a combination of airstrikes, naval bombardment and a small number of special operators on the ground.

  6.  @ChaoticCobra  - Why would Canada want Alaska? Canadians can already go there and do whatever they want. It's extremely easy to travel between the US and Canada. For years, you didn't even need a passport.

  7.  @ChaoticCobra  - The U.S. and Canada have excellent trade agreements and are, overall, the two friendliest nations on Earth, to the point where mere traffic tickets transfer between borders in many cases. There is absolutely no way, in a billion years, Canada attacks the U.S. militarily (or vice versa). As far as Arctic claims, a U.S.-Canada alliance is much more powerful than a solo Canada bid.
