  3. There's just a certain amount of baggage that comes with getting in bed with the CCP regime. Are nations with majority Islam populations going to buy fighters from the country committing a genocide against the Uighurs? Do you want to come into the Chinese sphere, with its extreme surveillance state tactics and micro-managed control over everything it touches? Even countries that don't oppose China in a political sense want nothing to do with them in a practical sense. You can't operate as a totalitarian cult of personality and also have unopposed global influence over mainstream defense and aerospace markets.
