@Not_A_Cop-e7h It's a combination, but the U.S. must get a handle on the unchecked visas and immigration policies that have allowed many Chinese nationals and first generation citizens to gain entry to its territory and munitions development programs. I know people are scared to death to be called "racist," but it is a long-established policy for countries to turn those with a shared ethnicity within an adversary's borders. It's unfortunate, but anyone of Chinese descent who works for a U.S. defense contractor needs to be monitored closely, and an immigration moratorium must be enforced. China is a threat to the freedom of every last man, woman and child on the planet and must be stopped.

They do. The U.S. actually had one last week (Sea, Air, Space).

@dauzlee2827 It's not that the "military is superior." It's a century of experience on the part of the USSR/Russia and USA operating a global force that projects power. To become a superpower, at some point you have to fight (and win) a war. Bullying your neighbors who just want to live peacefully on their small island, by the way, is not an example of the kind of war that must be fought.

@thetigerking2613 Ehh, they'd be counter-jammed by the EA-18G and taken out by F-35s at BVR. If they get too close, they'd have to deal with the SM-6 and a bunch of other nasty munitions. It certainly could produce a mission kill from time to time but it's not a checkmate by any stretch.

@Ry_TSG Average people who read defense industry blogs knew about all this stuff. It's no big deal, really.

The Russians have virtually no allies except rogue states. If they imposed sanctions on another country, it would be largely meaningless.

@indianumba1usnumba1chynalo6 So has the J-20, frankly. It's probably a decent interceptor for going after big targets like cargo aircraft and AEW assets, but those canards and it's giant fuselage are not conducive to an F-22 type mission. Think of it was a low-observable MiG-31.

Nah, signals intelligence and sensors have a good handle on which side is which, plus blue force tracking, IFF for aviation, JTACs on the ground, etc.

No, that's the Su-57.
