  1. I kinda wish Binkov modeled this with Brazil's Gripen order having been delivered. Brazil will then be operating a very modern air force and they will also be fielding the Meteor missile.

  2. The US wouldn't bother involving itself in this conflict, except to broker a peace deal. There is nothing to be gained by making an enemy out of either ally. America needs to remain friendly with both of these countries, one being a NATO ally and one the largest (and soon to be more militarily powerful) country in South America. There is also the lingering question of Brazil eventually joining NATO, which comes up from time to time. Once Brazil re-equips its air force, and if they add a carrier with Gripen-M fighters, they will be a very, very potent player.
