U.S. Marines have some Land Rovers too. They found the Humvee was better in mud-rough stuff and the Rover was much better in sand. Having owned both Jeeps and Rovers and living in a beach town that also has muddy flooding, I'd absolutely concur. Guess I need one of each lol.

@tadatada5 U.S. special forces are trained in horseback riding. Horses were used in the invasion of Afghanistan (though I believe only in the initial stages by SOF) but there are no more formal units that include horses.

@MrDarrylR Man, that sucks that they JUST missed the Gulf War where they could've torn it up in the desert.

@reganbond61 Noooo. Can't have the Hilux in the U.S. Pickups here in 'Murica need to look tough and manly in football commercials... not actually be built tough and look modern/functional like the rest of the world.

@HanSolo__ You could probably get a fleet of brand new Land Rover Defenders for pennies on the dollar compared to whatever this will cost.
