  1. Bingo. Same with Spirit and Frontier in the US. The fights and animalistic behavior happen on the same airlines over and over again. Most people don't even take first class because of the luxuries anymore – they take it to avoid dealing with a a horrendous clientele. It's sad that if you can't pay thousands of dollars, you have to put up with slimeballs.

  2. Less emissions by passenger? Do you really think the average flyer cares in the least about that? I sure don't. Ironically, I very much prefer when I see an older aircraft assigned to my route if I'm in economy. The seats are not as horrendously crammed in as they are now. Don't put lipstick on a pig and let these airlines get away with poor comfort under the guise of some environmental virtue signaling.

  3. "Nickel and diming" customers annoys them more than paying for something upfront. Sometimes Ryanair is cheaper, sometimes it's not. The "surprise" tactics, thin ethics, combined with leisure flyers (rather than experienced biz flyers) making up most of the customer base translates to complaints.
