  1. Embraer just keeps coming out with awesome aircraft after awesome aircraft. I really, really wish they'd jump in and disrupt the market with a true 737/A320 competitor.

  2.  @Dave_Sisson  Embraer has established manufacturing in the U.S., has done defense work for DoD and services the regional affiliates of almost every major American airline. They are also based in an allied nation, in the hemisphere, opposed to the Russian/China vassal state to the north. Bulking them up is good for national security. If Embraer can shut down the risk of a Chinese competitor with a cheaper-than-737/A320 price point at the same capacity, seems like a no-brainer. Ultimately, America is about competition, and our allies should take part in that – especially with Boeing's recent record.
