  1. I hope they actually store it properly and do whatever the minimum maintenance should be. It would a shame to waste a plane that can be used when the war is over. Maybe give it back to Antonov to help them restart their cargo business.

  3.  @sncy5303  No, you can't keep them as "POWs." That's utterly ridiculous. For one thing, Canada is not at war with Russia. Therefore there are no prisoners of war. It also doesn't matter if they "support Putin." People support all kinds of stuff – actually, these pilots probably HAVE to say they support Putin to avoid being locked up in Siberia. They're not spies, they're pilots who landed a plane owned by their employer. You can certainly force them to leave Canada, but they did not commit any crimes, much less "espionage." Holding them would essentially be kidnapping. That's something Putin would do.
