  1. Ha, I don't know why this is really even a question. Crews have been doing rest in the passenger cabin for years. They usually install a curtain device over the row. I've seen this a million times on flights between North America and South America.

  2.  @spongebubatz  Well, in the past, different seats were installed. An airline flying a narrowbody on a long-haul route doesn't prioritize your comfort. They prioritize their fuel savings, which may (or may not) be passed on to you.
