Comments by "VisibilityFoggy" (@VisibilityFoggy) on "Southwest Takes Legal Action Over Flight Search Engines" video.
Please don't let the airline shills get too out of hand in the comments. Remember, Southwest Airlines is NOT out to do you any favors. They exist to pry the most money away from you as possible. That's not a bad thing – it's what a business is supposed to do. But your job as a consumer in a capitalist society is to fight attempts to stifle competition. There is no one who is not being paid by Southwest Airlines who should support their groundless arguments in this case.

Yeah, right, it's totally about "protecting customers from fraud" and not preventing customers from easily comparing prices between airlines. Got it.

@egorkhristov2467 So because it works for you, everyone in the country should be subject to your whims? Wow...

They have the ability to place their booking site under a login wall and take care of this "problem" today. If they want to keep a front-facing system in place, there is no way to pick and choose who can access it. The courts have been abundantly clear on this.

@egorkhristov2467 How about I don't shut up. Everyone's opinion is valid, though yours is just an ignorant insult. Glad I touched a nerve, though. ;)

You're correct, but they don't want to "restrict" it. They could do that today simply by placing a login mechanism in front of the flight search process. What they want is to maintain a public-facing search option, but restrict consumers from accessing it the way they wish in order to stifle competition.
