As well they should. This is a new Cold War and we need to start acting like it.

That is essentially what happened to all of the Russian aircraft of the last two decades.

I will not fly any aircraft manufactured by a company controlled by the CCP. Period. Has nothing to do with the aircraft itself.

First, the FAA would have to certify it in order for it to be operated by an American airline. That ain't happening. Then the airline would have to deal with the PR disaster – the "Air Mao" jokes are writing themselves – plus the idea of supporting the CCP and their dictatorship and concentration camps, and, well, you know from there. Then they'd have to convince people to fly on Chinese aircraft. All this, of course, while literally every other day they are threatening war with Taiwan, Japan and other neighbors. If you see Chinese planes in the fleets of American airlines, it probably will have meant we lost World War III.

No airline outside of China is going to let their companies become hostage to the CCP. I could imagine the nutty decisions they'll make (if you fly to Country X that we don't like this week, no spare parts for you!) and such. You would have to be a certifiably insane person to hitch your wagon to that regime.

Kind of an odd question since there are airliners that have never had hull losses but are still in production, so you never know if one will happen in the future. Off the top of my head, the 787 and the A350 have never had losses.

@parimal7528 And if someone needs to carry a spacecraft or haul an absurd amount of metric tons of cargo around the world, that's awesome.
