This is the military that has been reduced to a failed fifth-gen fighter effort, cowardly "little green men" pretending not to be soldiers invading Ukraine, providing security to prop up an illegitimate dictator in Venezuela, and relying on unguided bombs that decimated civilian areas in Syria because they're too cheap/poor to use guided munitions for targeting that limits collateral damage. Oh, and their only aircraft carrier is going to be laid up for years because it caught on fire. Yeah, definitely sounds like a blueprint for high morale.

Right, because Saab, BAE Systems, Dassault, Airbus Defense, Leonardo, H&K, Thales, MBDA, Rolls-Royce and dozens of other defense contractors are American companies, correct?

No country on the planet spends that much. Two percent of GDP is the requirement and if they do not meet the requirement, they should be removed from NATO. Period.

I'd be more worried about Kaliningrad than Gibraltar if I were the EU. The UK-Spain controversy is the silliest "dispute" in the world, if you ask me. It's a war fought by creating traffic jams due to passport control when things "heat up." If Spain wants to develop a port, Tarifa is a half-hour away.
