What Booker always forgets to tell everyone is that he was born and raised in an upper middle class, nearly all-white town called Harrington Park in New Jersey. He knows nothing of "the streets" or the struggles of people of color. He ingratiated himself in the corrupt political machine that runs Newark, NJ and they made him mayor (even though there were legitimate rumors he never actually lived in the city despite maintaining a residence there for show). His record was a disaster. Murders, carjackings, robberies through the roof. The state took over the schools because they were such an unmitigated disaster. Nobody even dares to get off at the exits for Newark on the highway if you don't have to. The man is a fraud who was created for the purpose of winning political office. He brings nothing to the table.
