The OP is right, even if I agree that it's petty in the long run. When I was a reporter I interviewed members of congress, people from federal agencies, law enforcement officials, and covered stories from courtrooms. If you didn't dress nicely, you were definitely thought to be lacking in the credibility department. I remember one particularly conservative politician who didn't like that I wore jeans to a public meeting. Basically, if dressing nicely helps you get the story and make contacts, go for it. If it doesn't matter, who cares?

@someguy7657 - I highly doubt the Su-57 will make it into full production. And Russia doesn't really want to sell them the Su-35 since it would be seen by the world community as another rejection of the Su-57. Chances are that Turkey ends up with a Su-30 – just don't know whether it'll be something like a Su-30MKI or a Su-30M2V. Big difference.

@rammpro - I'm am 100 percent sure that Secret Service agents, while on duty, would not be getting into fights with protesters because they scream some kind of insulting remark about America. Now, partying in Cartagena... different story.

@SirGeorge8600 - Why does Russia fly old Tu-95s around Alaska every few weeks? To say hello and prove they can. Same concept here on a smaller scale.
