There are a billion reasons to use macOS over Windows. If you have some basic computer skills, Linux works too. But Windows is, and always has been, a buggy, virus-prone disaster of an OS. Also, I find Apple's laptops are physically built superior to most Windows-carrying brands. I'm a reporter and my laptop gets a lot of abuse being lugged all around the world, and even after four years my MacBook Pro is still in perfect shape. As for phones, I only have an iPhone because of my computer. I really don't care about iPhone vs. Android. I like both, and would probably have an Android if I didn't use things like AirDrop and other Mac-to-Mac features so much.

@TakezoMushashi - I haven't owned a Windows machine since the early part of this millennium, so I haven't thought much of viruses in a while. Just the idea of having to have an anti-virus app running in the background annoys me. It takes system resources away from what you need your machine to do – negating the idea that you can buy faster Windows machines cheaper. You need to bulk up your specs so high to support all the anti-virus activity that you could've gotten a superior-built computer without the need for laggy software constantly running. I've had Macs for over 15 years, never installed an anti-virus app and have never had a virus. And stop with the nonsense that I somehow do not know how to operate a computer. I certainly know how to buy the best one, for starters.

@harrywang4769 - Err, okay. I have a bachelors and masters. Guess I need a doctorate to discover how great Windows is.

@harrywang4769 - Neither of my degrees are in journalism. You're a strange dude, Harry. I've never met someone so obsessed with defending Windows lol.
