  1. I can say, without hesitation, that I have never broken a law that would even remotely result in a jail term. Speeding? Sure. Not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign? Check. Bringing an illegal substance over an international border? Nah.

And no, I've never been assaulted nor have I hit someone else outside of some martial arts training I used to do back in the day, which of course isn't illegal. I pretty much get along with everyone. I always find it strange when I overhear people talking about being arrested and going to court as if it's something that's routine. Most people do not have criminal records. Sorry if you do, but...

  8. I'm not defending her stupidity in pulling this in Russia, but generally speaking, in Texas in 2022 the cartridge would be confiscated and she'd be issued a citation ordering her to pay a fine. Technically you can be arrested in Texas for this, but that is rarely enforced to such a level. It is generally used to plea bargain dealers down to users. No one in the United States is spending a second in jail for this today.
