@OOpSjm They cannot keep maintenance records without access to the Boeing and Airbus backend systems, which has been terminated. So, yes, they could theoretically write notes on paper to create "maintenance records," but it is not something any manufacturer, airline, insurance carrier or government regulator outside of Russia would ever accept.

@СергейМонин-д7с Well, good luck flying on those things. Superjets have already been reliability nightmares. And the world has now seen how poorly built Russian military equipment has been. Would anyone want to fly on a Russian-built plane? Especially with Russian-built engines?

@aeroflopper That is simply untrue. Five carriers (mainly charter) returned their aircraft – a total of 31 planes. Far from "most."

@bitterballs356 You do realize that no country on Earth wants anything to do with invading and occupying the dumpster fire that is Russia, correct? Why would any foreign country want to take on the burden of a vast, poor, backwards dysfunctional state that has rejected democratic values?
