"The west" does not have "tons" of these systems sitting anywhere because NATO member states tend not to prioritize the deployment of anti-aircraft systems. US and European fighting doctrine assumes the achievement of air superiority and a prepped battlespace before hostilities begin. IRIS-T SLM did not even exist when this conflict began and the units had to be physically assembled. The NASAMS system donated by the U.S. existed only to protect the U.S. capital region and needed to be manufactured before being provided. Patriot batteries may exist elsewhere in the world, but U.S. stocks are almost fully in use in the Pacific. Where do you get this nonsensical information?

  2. Surrounded? Russia can't project power more than 100km from their own western border, lol. Russia has turned to the likes of North Korea to source ammo, lol. And its people are barely being treated any better than Kim Jong-Un's subjects. The funny thing is their media spreads crazy stories about American starving and Europeans freezing to death. It's almost comical, except for the fact that enough vatniks and sycophants believe it. Russia needs to be disassembled and rebuilt from the ground up. It's a debased and backwards society.
