  1.  @user1qaz2wsx3edc  Well, the weapons actually worked perfectly. They helped oust the Taliban from government for 20 years. Unfortunately, Afghans did not have the spirit of Ukrainians, understandably, because it is a tribal society with no real national identity. Did you expect the U.S. to remain there permanently?

  3. These systems have been around for a while. They're known commodities, and the stated numbers are correct. Russia does have a platform similar to HIMARS but they have been produced in very small numbers and likely can no longer be produced due to sanctions.

  4. They can to an extent, using synthetic aperture radar, but most of the weapons-located systems are ground radar-based. The primary one is the AN/TPQ-36 Firefinder.
