  4.  @thornelderfin  A major difference is that many of America's tribal cultures stayed together in geographical proximity and forged relationships and generations within the tribe. The Tartars were considered by Stalin to be "unsupportive" of the USSR and, therefore, should be dispersed around the country (generally central Russia) and dismantled as a culture. Another sad act by one of the most evil men in world history. So while it doesn't sound "nice" to say that most Tartars now "look just like any other Russian," it is objectively true, for the most part.
