  1. I suppose that's true, but it actually is kind of a credit to him for having smart guests with such a wide range of opinions on the show. The reason I listen is because he has people from all sides who usually come up with good arguments for how they feel, but also recognize the bad parts of "their" side.

  2. It's basically the most divided the US has been since the civil war. He's supposed to ignore reality and talk about someone's new Netflix special? People listen to Joe for interesting conversations, even if it's not with a supposed "expert." That's something you can't get anywhere else.
