@elaborategecko9850 Except "shitting his pants" is YOUR personal take from it. Half of the people who saw that clip feel the way you do, and the other half saw someone who is supposed to be a "journalist" doing exactly what the right accuses journalists of doing every day – attacking a candidate, lobbing disrespectful, loaded "gotcha" questions and looking down at someone with whom they disagree with arrogance and disdain. Most people I know loved that Trump gave it right back. And factually, he was correct. He's running against someone who changes her identity – political and even racial – depending on the way the wind is blowing that day. The fact that we even have segregated groups of "journalists" in the US in 2024 is mind-boggling.

I don't think Peter understands that many Americans are very frustrated with high energy prices, spiraling food prices, disjointed foreign policy that is allowing the world's dictators and thugs to run wild, and racial chaos that is fomented by peddlers of identity politics. Add in the border crisis and Harris' inability to put together a sentence without delving in a senseless stream-of-consciousness or a bizarre round of cackling laughter, and you have a completely unserious candidate on the far left who seemingly hates and demeans anyone with whom she disagrees and has destroyed every semblance of public policy she ever touched (beginning with her disastrous stint as a pro-crime prosecutor and California AG). Peter needs to stick to foreign policy.

@someyoungguyjohnson7239 "Fault" is an odd concept. It takes two to tango, and "supply" and "demand" are required. Take away one, and the other goes away too. But human nature is what it is. I don't think there is really ANY answer except to develop policies to mitigate the effect of the market on the average person in terms of violence and public safety. In other words, let the flow continue IF violence does not spread, and drop the hammer in terms of jail sentences and penalties if the cartels cannot control their local distributors.
