@blackcatdungeonmastersfami5311 Why, in absence of NATO membership, would a country bordering Russia NOT want to acquire nuclear weapons? It is the only solution to deter Russia from invading your territory. I'm stunned more of Russia's neighbors are not considering nuclear weapons acquisition.

It's not considered a long-range missile BY the American military. It's classified as an SRBM (short range ballistic missile) in defense nomenclature. The RS-26A is, factually, an "intermediate range" ballistic missile, as agreed upon by everyone. In other words, the press likes to sensationalize what ATACMS can do in order to stoke fears of World War III breaking out.
