  1. MCAS actually is not a bad system. It has been deployed very successfully on some Boeing military aircraft. The thing is, the pilots have to know what it is and what it does.

  3.  @dknowles60  - Out of curiosity, do you know the numbers on this? Would be interested to see how many Douglas planes retired from passenger service are still flying freight compared to Boeing planes of the same era.

  8. Ha, imagine that instead of the reverse, Embraer comes in and buys Boeing on the cheap. I'd trust them to make a better single aisle commercial airplane before Boeing. The E-jets are a pleasure to fly on.
