  1. @AUmarcus A lot of Americans seem to think that streets in Latin America (and southern Europe, in my experience) look dodgy when they're really just different. I probably even though that way myself before I spent a lot of time in South America. Things are just built and laid out differently, the construction isn't always geared toward outer aesthetics and is more functional. It doesn't mean it's dangerous – just different, and something you get used to.
