  1. NATO member states, including the U.S., all use commercial satellite imagery. Actually, one of the items in the list of donations to Ukraine is access to commercial satellite imaging data purchased by the U.S. government. I suppose there's nothing stopping the American (or any other) government from releasing these images, but they're commercially available to anyone who wants them anyway, and the government likely concludes that the private sector has it covered and doesn't want to get into the commercial satellite business. The OSINT community, the only people who would really be interested, already have their subscriptions, lol.
