  1. They already have it in the form of an SM-6 attached to an F/A-18. Tested a few weeks ago.

  3. It was a 20-mile kill and something of a strange set of circumstances. The F/A-18 was carrying a strike package (HARM missile) and not carrying an air-to-air load. The Hornets were supposed to have had the entire area around them swept by F-14s, but the Tomcats couldn't do their sweep because there was a fear that they would detect F-15s in the area and mistake them for hostiles. So the F/A-18s went in anyway and the MiG-25 got a shot off with an old R-40 missile.
