  1. The dev costs will be huge but the unit cost, when economies of scale are considered, could be $1-2 million each if a number of allied countries begin fielding high numbers of them.

  2. It's interesting to note that Loyal Wingman is not being developed for the USAF, but is being developed by Boeing Australia for the Royal Australian Air Force. This is an AMAZING accomplishment for our friends down under that they are leading the world in embracing and developing this game-changing system. Of course, the USAF has its own projects and may adopt Boeing Australia's system as its own, but just thought we should give a little credit to our Aussie brothers and sisters!
