  5. Aha....the russians had no bases in Vietnam or Ethiopia..USSR was an aggressive neighbour and and it had a significant navy in Murmansk,Crimea,Kronstadt and Vladivostok..much of now is rusty hulks....the living standards in USSR were very low due to all this spending on the military.
