  1. No the biggest mistake was not appeasment in relation to germany. The biggest mistake was fucking Germany over completely during the aftermath of WW1 with the The Versailles Treaty. Germany didn't start the first world war. But they ended up being the ultimate losers of it, due to greedy and oppressive countries like France and the U.K. Their humiliating treatment of the Germans in the aftermath of WW1 is what caused the great resentment and strong patriotic sentiments that brought Adolf Hitler to power. Had they shown a little grace and respected the Prussian Empires borders, instead of ripping into it like hungy vultures, a guy like Hitler would've never risen to power in the first place.

  2. They don't use flamethrowers anymore because today they have thermobaric bombs... Which isn't really a pleasant way to go either. Only if you're lucky does the shockwave in confined spaces actually kill you. But many victims of thermobaric bombs get to experience what it's like having your lungs pop like balloons inside your chest due to overpressure, and then dying from being slowly suffocated under intense pain, since you no longer have any lungs to breathe with.

  3. The U.S are the only ones upholding the rivalry and hostility between the U.S and Russia. It's not the russians who are setting up permanent military bases with their weapons pointed straight at their perceived enemy right at the border. Only the U.S does this.

  4. If the tunnels had water locks, and water tight lids between different levels, then how the hell did the vietcong keep the tunnels oxygenated? If thousands of armed troops basically lived in these tunnels, they would've suffocated within the first say if that was really the case.
