Suspects hopped up on PCP can turn into a veritable terminator sometimes. PCP causes dissasociative conditions in users. So they have that whole "out of body" experience. You can shoot them with almost anything and they can punch through windshields with their fists, breaking every single bone in their hand without flinching.

Always had a good report with bouncers. They've even let me into clubs when I was so drunk of my ass I didn't even know what part of town I was in. Just be friendly, cooperative and don't stumble around like a zombie and they'll usually let you enjoy your evening.

"Turns out being electrocuted, is bad for your heart" Yup. I work with electrical currents on a daily basis. The rules are basically this: anything below 48 volts is fine. You can touch that with your fingers and you'll barely notice it. But anything above 48 volts, power has to be disconnected and under no circumstances should you ever work with any live wires above that number. As it turns out, even a mild electric shock of say 100 volts, might not kill you outright. In fact you might even be able to go about your day and get home from work, only to keel over at your front door, dead from a heart attack. You can't really predict it. Tazers operate in the million volt ranges, so there is definitely an elevated risk of death if you get tazed. I still think tazers are prefarable to simply shooting suspects with a firearm though. But everyone, cops included, should be taught that electrocution of that kind does carry a significant risk with it.

@zackzittel7683 Uh, hold up everyone! We've got ourselves a badass over here! 😱

@jhoughjr1 No, you can still bleed out. But when you get shot, it takes awhile before you pass out due to bloodloss. Most people who get shot go down to shock, trauma and pain THEN they bleed out. But people on PCP won't even register shock, pain and sometimes not even trauma, unless the trauma directly cuts off their motor functions (like having your spine completely severed by a bullet, or taking a direct shot to the head destroying parts of your brain)

@mephInc It does. But the rules apply, regardless of amperege

@skankmcgank I'm saying volts because i'm quoting the regulations. I'm no stranger to the "it's amp's that kill" bullshit. But it's mostly irrelevant information because in the industries where currents are derived from mains, they will always have sufficient amps to kill. If you think that voltage is irrelevant, then you're the one who should stop working with currents, bro.

@f145hr3831jr Go and look up the output of stun guns and tazers yourself and you'll see.

@DodoTA727 I promise you, it's definitely not the same. Anesthetics reduce pain sensations, but that's all.

Now that I've supplied relevant information to everyone who subscribe to the old idiotic saying that only amps kill you, I think we can put that nursery tale to rest.

@Alex_Fahey Happy to see someone who knows something. A lightning strike has more energy than anything you'll see from the powergrid devised by human hands. But a lightning strike lasts for too few milliseconds to be an instant death sentence.
