It's hard to disrespect a master thief like this. Especially when he's not engaging in any actual violent crime, or steal from regular people, but instead pull off high class heists against banks and museums only.

@andrewwilson5184 If he stole a painting or sculpture then maybe. I can't say I give two shits about the lavish jewelry of the monarchy, paid for by enslaved peasants and their toil though. I don't have any cultural or historical sentiment to any "crown jewels". As far as i'm concerned, these objects only represent the vile oppression that monarchs subjected my ancestors to. So if I master thief managed to steal them in an epic heist, I'd just make a toast to his daring feat and hope he enjoys his money.

@metamoferrous7287 Because a personal accessory is just that: personal. For an object to be culturally relevant, it has to extend beyond the personal. You're pretty fucking disingenous if you unironically make the claim that every piece of luxury crap paid for by the aristocracy is some "priceless cultural artifact".

@shenwoo666hellbrawl Skilled jewelers were just servants of the monarchy though. Their work was commissioned, not an expression of national culture.

@metamoferrous7287 Nice strawman bro. Not taking the bait.

@metamoferrous7287 Jewelry does not compare to statues and paintings you muppet. Jewelry is a personal accessory. Hence, Strawman

@mistermeatcake1785 Not gonna complain about a thief who manage to steal them though. I hope heistmakers like this get away with their crimes.
