  1. A mum just trying to win a Wii for her three kids... Well, that sure makes me depressed. Also why the hell did they have contestants drink so much water for the purpose. Would've been safer if they just gave them a smaller amount of something else to drink that encourage urination. Sugary drinks or beer for example will ellicit urination much quicker than water (which is why it's actually a bad idea to drink beer or fizzy drinks if you feel thirsty on a hot day because the body will expend more moisture trying to process the contents of the beverage than it retains fluid from the beverage)

  4. Then there's the fact that you'll waste a lot of water if you drink too much in too short time. A non-issue during training when you have ready access to clean water. Can become a BIG issue on a mission where you might be cut off from clean drinking water sources and have to make the water you bring with you last for as long as possible.
