The diamond encrusted skull, while kitschy, is still sort of pleasing to look at if you like skull motifs I guess. And the diamonds on it actually warrant the high price. So while it is obvious troll art, it has some more merit than the other art pieces criticized here

There are some people who eat broken glass though 🤣 I think Dank made a madlads video about this french guy who ate broken glass and even entire vehicles piece by piece, but I can't remember his name (he had a much thicker and resilient digestive system than normal people so he was able to pass the undigestible materials through it without getting injured)

@allamericanslacker2378 I disagree to a point. Expression is a component of art. But execution is also a critical component of art. If all you can come up with is a crude and primitive crayon drawing that a 4 year old could've drawn, then frankly, I don't care about whatever it is you try to express. When your execution is so poor and low effort, it tells me that you're basically insulting the very idea that you're trying to express through your art. As in, if you don't believe strongly enough in the expression you're trying to convey that you make an effort to execute it in an excellent manner, then why should I believe it or take it to heart? Didn't mean to shoot your point down here or anything. All I want with this is to express a pretty long running disagreement I have with the art world in general. And it's not an elitist sentiment of mine either, because even if the skills of an artist can be lacking, it's usually pretty easy to tell how much effort went into an art piece. And doing crap like duct taping a banana to a wall only shows how pathetically little effort the artist invested into it.

Yoko Ono is a hero. She broke up The Beatles, to which i'm very grateful 😏

I've unironically seen artwork from university art students composed of crappy crayon drawings that looks like they were made by a 4-year old. Yet somehow the art world has made such bad quality acceptable, because they are pathologically obsessive over some convoluted and pretentious "message" being conveyed while completely disregarding the execution of the artwork. In the past, artists worked harder on execution, reaching a zenith where paintings and sculptures bordered on the photorealistic. But the degenerate post-modernists just can't be bothered with striving for excellence. To them art is only about activism and nothing else.
