  1. I started out with anime by getting Ghost in the Shell, Akira and Ninja Scroll on VHS from Manga Entertainment in the 90's. I think it helped to prevent me from becoming a weeb, because they were all so freaking good that most anime trash that weebs usually enjoy really pale in comparison.
