  1. Funny coincidence: I got myself some steaks being marinated as we speak. When I cook steak I want to make sure they get marinated for at least 24 hours before cooking. It's a long wait, but I find that the payoff in texture and flavor is always worth it 😁 Oh and as a special bonus, today I made a marinade with islay single malt whisky in it. Not sure how it'll go, but I'd like to impart some of the smokiness from the whisky into the meat. In my mind's eye, it should be quite tasty
