  1. I'd argue the military-industrial complex is worse. Deficit spending is a poor economical choice with bad consequences. But the MIC is a system that not only profits off death and destruction but actively encourage more of it. If I have to pay taxes then I'd rather have them wasted than being spent on profiting merchants of death and getting people killed for no other reason than to line pockets of said death merchants.
