  2. Jack Murphy was a certified lunatic long before this meltdown. For example he unironically wrote articles about how rape is "man's gift to women" and basically saying that women enjoy to be raped. Also, some pointers for any people who take advice from "the manosphere" and may come across Jack Murphy-like people in it: a real alpha male doesn't constantly have to tell everyone that he's an alpha male. Real alpha males are certainly assertive and have a domineering presence, yes. But they're rarely braggarts and loudmouths. Their capacity to be assertive and take charge is usually more of an unspoken behaviour that doesn't contain verbal rationalization or excuses. So if you are looking for a role model and feel insecure and misguided, look to men who you just naturally look up to without them directly telling you why they're so great and alpha all the time.
